LENTEN JOURNEY
You are invited to meet with the travelers each Wednesday during Lent as we explore what John meant when he put the words "I Am" on the lips of Jesus. We gather in the Sanctuary for prayer, song and reflection at 7:00.

The community of St. Peter's UCC gathers each Christian Sabbath to worship God and seek together to discern God's will for us individually and as a community. There is Church School for all ages at 9:00. Worship is at 10:00. The second Sunday of each month there is a coffee hour time for fellowship at 9:30.

 

Women's Guild meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00. Sister Spirit, a ritual-based feminist spirituality group meets on the Friday nearest the full moon.

 

We have six Boards that organize our shared life: Administration and Finance, Christian Education, Membership, Mission,  Property and Grounds, Spiritual Life.

 

We have begun 2008 with great enthusiasm. We will welcome three new members into official membership early in March. Five young people will be confirmed on Pentecost. We are meeting our financial commitments - and then some. There is a spirit of enthusiasm and hope as we dream together what God has next for us here in Posey County.
